7~01~09

I know I do not post very often. I really do not remember how to do much to this site since my friend was doing everything at the beginning, I stink at computers.

Summer is here.

Thalia is in a summer program and goes there most days throughout the week. She loves it. Thalia is still on meds, we have gone through tons of different ones, she is currently on "The Patch" as most everyone knows. It helps her so much. Not many side effects either and she is such a better healthier happy child while on meds. You can tell when it wears off because she starts doing things like yesterday we were all out playing letting the kids jump in the puddles from the rain. Thalia decided to put Isabella in 1 of those small kid shopping carts when my back was turned. Then tried to haul butt down the drive way, OF COURSE the shopping cart flipped over and there was bella flat on her face on concrete. Thalia picks her up and starts rocking her and says she is sorry. We put Thalia in time out and she screams "I was just trying to give her a ride!". Truth is, she WAS just trying to give her a ride, also we have told her about 55 times to NOT put Isabella in the shopping cart. Also have told her about 2.2 MILLION times to NOT pick up Isabella. After she gets up from time out she walks over to Isabella and picks her up and tries to run with her. Isabella is 1/2 her weight and height! THAT is the ADHD child. It is constant, stressful, yet so innocent on Thalia's part.

Olivia is growing BIG. She wears about 1/2 a size under Thalia! She is so sweet yet so manipulating and mean! Thats kids though. I could look at how beautiful she is all day long. Her hair is so long and her face so sweet.  She has been dx with a milk allergy and since we took milk out of her diet she is a happier child. She loved school and cant wait for the new year to begin.

Elijah is following in Thalia's footsteps. He is ALL over the place and just can not stop to focus. He is a sweet little boy though and at 4 1/2 still loves his blanket. He loves to play with his "MONSTER JAMS"  morning, noon, night and anything in between!  We let his hair grow out again and it is amazing how cute he looks. Straight on top but curls all the rest. He begs me to shave his head like his daddy but I just can not bring myself to cut his curls off again.

Nadia....oh my sweet Nadia. She is the most well behaved child, MOST of the time. She listens, she rarely gets in time out, and she does what she is told. She is my little mommy and loves to clean and help set the table and just please you. Now she is still 4 so she does know how to throw a great temper tantrum, but we only see those 1 time about every 6 weeks. She has perfected it though.

Isabella is a spoiled rotten little girl. I am in love with her. I am in love with all of them! Isabella has the CUTEST smile ever. She makes you work for it though. She looks just like Thalia but with curly hair like Elijah. She thinks she is a lot older then she is. She fits in PERFECTLY with this family. I thank God for her all the time.

Wally is STILL out of a job, if you are counting that is now 11 months! I am VERY worried but I just know it will work out. With nobody working money is tight. I thought he would only be without a job for a few months, boy was I wrong. He keeps busy though. He has done so much to our home, within the next few months we should be moving into the addition. We are going from about 900 sq. feet to about 2200!!!

We went to North Carolina for a week and the kids had so much fun. SO CHEAP! Our family has a place there so all we had to pay for was gas to get there. We did lots of free fun things. Soon we will going to the beach for a week. We paid for that a LONG time ago when times were not so tough, if we cancel we lose the money so we are going. I am looking forward to the break. We do nothing but sit on the beach. Sit on the balcony and look out and dream of winning the lotto!
