These babies sure do keep me busy. I wrote this to a friend in an email, when I was done writing it, it clicked how much more effort things really do take when you have 3 the same exact age, and people say i did it the EASY WAY having them all at 1 time, WHATEVER!! I mean just putting them in their cribs takes foreever. It isnt like 1 baby, you walk to the crib give a kiss set the baby down, insert paci and give blanket walk away.
Do that then go to the living room pretend you are picking up another baby and then do the process all over again, then go to the living room and pretend to pick up another baby, do the process again. OOOPS looks like baby 1 has pooped! change that baby, baby 2 is looking at you like, why are you holding her and not me WAHHHHHHH finish baby 1 soothe that 1 go to baby 2 and say it is ok. then walk away and pray that all 3 will go to sleep! lol. who would have thought it would take so much to put your kids to bed for a nap!
How about when you have to change 1 baby and are done to turn around to walk in the room to see 2 babies crowding the baby gate and you have no way to get in!(our baby gates are kinda tall and i am a shortie!) it is funny. the little things you just dont think about.
The worst part is after they are done eatting. oh my they are a mess. i clean 1, put that one in the living room, clean the highchair, clean the next, put in living room, now baby 1 is crying because he (yep HE, always elijah!) wants OUT of his baby prison (the living room) now clean baby 2 highchair, baby 3 is now crying because she wants out and cleaned and wants to be held, baby 1 is now pulling babies 2 hair and climbing on top of her in effort to climb OVER the baby gate (cant happen but he sure will try) so now baby 1 is being mean and screaming to be out, baby 2 is crying because baby 1 is pulling her hair and climbing on her, baby 3 is now pissed off because she gets wiped down with a cold washcloth, and go figure the other 2 are once again at the gate that mommy has to find a way to climb over and NOT smash any of the 30 toes or 30 fingers that are around her big old feet!
Oh WHAT FUN IT IS!!!! and like i said before those are the little things!
